An Amber Alert was issued in Florida on Thursday evening after a 17-year-old boy was reported missing, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

In a release, FDLE officials announced that the teen — Caden Speight — had last been seen near the 12800 block of Southwest Highway 484 in Dunnellon.

At the time, he was wearing an “unknown-colored t-shirt” and blue jeans, investigators wrote.

“Caden may be in the company of four unknown males, possibly Hispanic,” the release reads. “They may be traveling in a light-colored van.”

Earlier in the afternoon, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office announced that a shooting had been reported around the same location where Speight was last seen.
