U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (KKTV) - A search was underway Thursday evening for a missing girl at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Officials with the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) said an on-base search is underway for 4-year-old Rylah, who they say was seen around 3:45 p.m. Thursday in the Douglas Valley housing area.

Officials said Rylah was last seen in the housing maintenance area heading west.

Rylah has straight brown hair and brown eyes, and officials said she was last seen wearing a black pullover.

According to USAFA, security teams are conducting outbound vehicle inspections, have increased patrol presence across the installation and have deployed military working dog teams.

Anyone on base interested in assisting in the search can go to Douglass Valley Middle School.
