The world was introduced to Sheldon Lee Cooper ( Jim Parsons ) in an exceptionally hilarious fashion in 2007 when the sitcom The Big Bang Theory began its run. In the seasons that followed, the science-themed comedy series introduced audiences to several supporting characters who brought the best out of the show.
