BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A Brewer man was indicted by a Penobscot County Grand Jury for allegedly assaulting a 14-day-old child in June.

According to the indictment, 21-year-old Matthew Lane is charged with domestic violence assault on a child less than six years old, and domestic violence wreckless conduct.

According to officials, the child was taken to the hospital but did not appear to have any significant injuries.

DHHS was notified.
