Lyndsey Gustafson scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Shippensburg field hockey beat Middletown 2-1 Thursday.

Evelien Kempen scored the other goal for Shippensburg in the first quarter. Middletown tied the game midway through the third quarter, leading to the extra period.

Shippensburg had 10 shots on goal in the contest and held Middletown to six. The Greyhounds had 12 penalty corners, finally converting on the game-winner.
