INDIANAPOLIS — This weekend's forecast is a warm one for Indiana and the state's parks have several events to enjoy the weather for not a lot of money.

Saturday, Sept. 27 is the last free fishing day of the season for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents can fish the state's public waters without a fishing license or trout/salmon stamp. However, the department reminds those who take advantage of the free fishing that rules regarding seasons, bag and size limits still apply.

If fishing's not your thing, admission is free to Indiana State Parks, Indiana State Forests and State Recreation Areas where entrance fees are charged on Sunday, Sept. 28.
