SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency (RCAA) says we have a moderate air quality index as of Thursday morning.

RCAA says the NWS issued a red flag warning since it is expected to be hazy, dry and warm. The combination of dry conditions and strong winds lead to critical fire danger.

Air quality will be moderate for Thursday and Friday, but could downgrade if the winds take the wildfire smoke into the airshed. The forecasted AQI will be average for all of Thursday.
