When Francisco Lindor connected for his 30th home run of the season on Thursday night against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, he made history.

The superstar shortstop, who already had 31 stolen bases, became the fifth player to join the 30-30 club in 2025 -- setting a new record for the most players to achieve the feat in the same season.

One day later, Pete Crow-Armstrong made it six 30-30 players this year, belting his own 30th home run of the season to go along with his 35 stolen bases. The Cubs' young star also hit his milestone homer at Wrigley, in Chicago's series opener against the Cardinals. Crow-Armstrong is the first -- and only -- Cubs player to post a 30-30 season since Sammy Sosa, who had two 30-30 seasons in 1995 (36 homers, 34 steals) and 1993 (33 homers, 36 steals).
