BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington North bombarded Bedford North Lawrence with a relentless offensive attack while stopping the Stars 6-0 during boys high school soccer action on Thursday.
The Cougars scored four times in the first half and posted an overall, overwhelming 30-1 advantage in shots. The Stars slipped to 4-8-1.
“North dominated possession and didn’t let us get into any rhythm,” BNL coach Ryan Otis said. “We were under pressure most of the game. Our effort didn’t drop off, which is a credit to the boys. We need to move forward and regroup for our last two games and the sectional.”
North’s goals came from Joe Luther (34:53 and 33:06 in the first half), Zach Gaither (30:26), James Bosco (3:08), Arno Risner (37:07 in the second half) and Liam Conlin (33:02).
