Hillary Clinton may have shocked some of her fans with strong praise of President Donald Trump.

The Hill reported that the former Secretary of State approves of Trump’s new take on Ukraine’s chances in its war with Russia.

Speaking on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program on Wednesday, Clinton said, “I welcomed what the president said yesterday.”

Democrat Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential election to Trump, was referring to Trump’s post on Truth Social saying that Ukraine could win its war with Russia and could regain territory lost to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump while attending the U.N. general assembly meeting on Tuesday called Russia a “paper tiger.” The president said that NATO countries should “shoot down” any Russian aircraft that violates their airspace.
