BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) - Students at Virginia Tech shared reaction on Wednesday to the Turning Point USA event hosting Megyn Kelly and Gov. Glenn Youngkin at Virginia Tech.
"I think it stands for that everybody can have a different opinion, but we're all trying to work for success," said one student.
Another student said she doesn't agree with many ideas shared at the event, but appreciated "just seeing where they're coming from and having that conversation."
Turning Point USA says roughly 2,000 Virginia Tech students showed up at Wednesday's event. It was scheduled before Turning Point's CEO Charlie Kirk was killed at a campus Q&A in Utah.
