ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An arrest has been made in connection to a 2017 homicide on Crestwood Court in the city of Albany. Police said an Albany man confessed to killing his parents.
Lorenz Kraus, 53, was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of concealment of a human corpse.
The arrest came two days after a financial crimes investigation began at 6 Crestwood Ct. A search warrant was executed on Tuesday, Sept. 23 by Albany police, the New York State Police and the Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General.
Police said several pieces of evidence were recovered. It was also found that homeowners Franz and Theresia Kraus, 92 and 83 respectively, had not been seen or heard from for several years. Their son, Lorenz, was accused of collecting their social secu
