Abby Helmecke scored two goals, and Meg Goyette had a goal and two assists as Niskayuna blanked Averill Park 4-0 in Suburban Council girls' soccer on Thursday.

After Niskayuna went up 2-0 at halftime, Helmecke scored her second goal in the first minute of the second half. Rose Foti also had a goal for Niskayuna, Sofie Zhu had an assist, and Lauren Vaccaro and Nadia Aggour combined for the shutout in goal.
