MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - A person in Wisconsin was arrested for an operating while intoxicated offense that caused an injury and for underage drinking after hitting a parked car into a pedestrian on Wednesday night.
According to the Madison Police Department, officers responded to the 2200 block of Woodview Court after 10 p.m. on Wednesday for a reported accident with an injury.
A witness said that the alleged driver was going about 50 miles per hour when they hit a parked car, which crashed into a pedestrian, who was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The suspect driver, who remains unidentified, was arrested for an OWI causing injury, second-degree reckless driving and underage drinking.
