Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb will continue his increased role after playing 50 percent of the snaps against the New England Patriots . Promising second-year linebacker Payton Wilson played just 47 percent of the snaps.

Defensive coordinator Terry Austin said on Thursday that Holcomb will end up continuing that role after a strong trial run from the veteran, who returned from an 18-month long recovery from a severe knee injury.
