(WPTA) - Attorney General Todd Rokita unveiled a new policy Thursday, set to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices from law firms seeking to represent Indiana and ensure only those committed to merit-based excellence will serve the state.

According to the attorney general’s office, which is tasked with approving most executive branch requests for outside counsel, the policy is a crackdown on ‘woke ideologies that undermine equal treatment under the law’.
