A Poplarville woman was killed early Thursday in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 43, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

MHP said the wreck happened around 6:45 a.m. on September 25. A 2019 Ford Explorer driven by 22-year-old Bri’Anna Cameron was traveling south on Highway 43 when it left the roadway and hit a tree. Cameron suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
