LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Clark County School District Board of Trustees meeting was packed as the fallout continued across the district, over social media posts several teachers made celebrating Charlie Kirk's killing.

People from both ideological sides sat in the board room, and they had one thing in common - they criticized the CCSD superintendent's decision to remove the teachers from the classroom.

"I believe educators should educate, teachers teach, parents parent, and schools should school. Meaning that they monitor and manage the educators to make sure we have qualified educators in there with our students," Matthew Winterhawk said.

Winterhawk said the teachers should've been fired from the district and not reassigned.
