SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - South Bend took part in a national day of remembrance for homicide victims on Thursday evening.
Hosted by Mama’s Against Violence at the city’s Jon Hunt Plaza, this event recognized lives lost to homicide while supporting families in an effort to unite the community.
Mamas Against Violence repeatedly makes the point that too many families know the pain of loss caused by murder. The organization vows to use this day to remember loved ones lost and to remind all those grieving the loss of a loved one they are not alone.
