SALT LAKE CITY — Police are searching for a suspect after they said a man was stabbed on Thursday near Rio Grande Street and 200 South in Salt Lake City.

The victim was hospitalized with injuries described as serious but not life threatening.

Salt Lake City Police told KSL they do not believe there is any further danger to the public.

No information about the victim has been released.
