SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KCAU) — A house fire at a duplex on Thursday evening that displaced a family of five in Sergeant Bluff.
According to one of the people in the home, the fire started around 4 p.m. when a vehicle, which had recently had work done at an auto shop, caught fire in the driveway.
It spread to the side of the duplex, and by the time emergency responders got there and put out the fire, enough damage had been done that the family wasn't allowed back in.
