WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Warner Robins is one step closer to a downtown transformation nearly two years after launching “Operation Reawaken,” a city-led plan to revitalize the Commercial Circle area.

The goal: tear down blighted properties and turn the district into a walkable, mixed-use downtown that attracts both residents and visitors.

“Commercial Circle has seen a lot of change over the years,” said Peggy Corbett, who manages Peg’s Preserves at the downtown farmer's market. “We’ve been noticing there’s more people walking around, seeing what’s going on, taking it all in as to what’s coming about and how clean and nice it’s beginning to look.”
