A suspected immigration enforcement operation in a Rockledge neighborhood Thursday morning left several construction workers in federal custody and a job site in disarray, according to witnesses.

The incident unfolded near the intersection of Dockyard Drive and Blue Water Lane, just off Interstate 95, in a rapidly developing area of Brevard County. Video captured by a WESH photojournalist shows men being detained by Brevard County sheriff’s deputies working alongside U.S. Border Patrol agents.

Law enforcement officers were seen processing individuals on the sidewalk before loading them into unmarked vans.
