DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A longtime Decatur favorite has announced the start of a new chapter.

The owners of the Downtown Cafe shared on Facebook Thursday that they are ending their time as owners of the business.

John and Barbara Ninnemann have owned Downtown Cafe for almost 24 years and are asking their customers to support the store under its new owner.

" We've laughed, cried and prayed with our customers over the years, throughout our trials and joys as well as yours. That has been a blessing to us and we hope it has been a blessing to you as well," the Ninnemanns said in the post.

The new owner's name has not yet been announced.
