A 12-year-old girl has been killed in a head-on collision between two vehicles in Western Australia's Great Southern region, police have confirmed.
Dozens of police and emergency services were called to the intersection of the Great Southern Highway and Robinson Road at Woodanilling on Thursday afternoon.
Police say a Mitsubishi Triton and a Honda CR-V collided at about 1:30pm.
Four people, including the driver of the Honda, were airlifted by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries last night.
Today police confirmed that a 12-year-old girl had died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to Katanning hospital.
Police said Major Crash Unit officers were investigating the incident.
