India on Thursday (September 25, 2025) said a fresh humanitarian aid to quake-hit Afghanistan has reached Kabul via the Chabahar port. Afghanistan was struck by a 6.0 magnitude earthquake on August 31, claiming more than 2,000 and displacing 23,000 people.

The Ministry of External Affairs, in a post on X, said, “In continuation of India’s humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in the wake of recent earthquake, three container loads of supplies of relief material arrived in Kabul via Chabahar and were handed over to Afghan authorities.”
