KIMBERLY, Ala. —

Kimberly police sounded the alarm on Facebook Wednesday night, saying homecoming festivities are getting out of hand. Police chief Ron Sellers said kids were out dressed in all black, shooting paintball guns at people and their homes.

Students in the area said it all happened during what’s supposed to be a safe and fun tradition, with toilet papering a friend’s house during homecoming week for Mortimer Jordan High School. Now, police are warning parents that the next time a paintball gun is aimed at someone, it won’t be a warning, but a call to come get their kids from jail.

Sellers reminded people that this kind of behavior is not “homecoming fun.”
