Rajasthan's CID Intelligence has arrested a person suspected to be working as a Pakistani spy from Jaisalmer. The suspect, identified as Hanif Khan (47), of Bahal village near the India-Pakistan border, has been accused of sending confidential information about the Indian Army to the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI, for the sake of money. Surprisingly, he also passed sensitive information related to Operation Sindoor across the border.
Vishnu Kant, Inspector General of CID Intelligence, said that a team had been monitoring Hanif Khan's suspicious activities for a long time. Investigations revealed that he was in contact with ISI handlers through social media and had visited Pakistan many times.
