Calls to scrap a new law affecting ALL UK adults have intensified. 500,000 have signed a petition overnight after the Labour Party government's announcement of ID cards.

All working adults will need digital ID cards under plans to be announced by Sir Keir Starmer. The proposals for a “Brit card” would require legislation and are already facing opposition from privacy groups.

The petition, backed by 517,000 people, on the Parliamentary website, states: " Do not introduce Digital ID cards. We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.
