Nicholas P. August Jr. Rotterdam - Nicholas P. August Jr., 81, passed away Sunday September 21, 2025 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady he was the son of Nicholas P. August Sr. and Anne McFadden August. Nic was a graduate of Schalmont High School and attended Bryant College.

A lifelong Schenectady area resident Nic served our country in the United States Army from 1966 - 1968. Upon returning from Vietnam Nic was honorably discharged and began his career at the General Electric Co. retiring as a project manager after 35 years.
