Owen Beck is inching closer to a full Derby County return with the full-back scheduled to play in a game next week.

The Liverpool defender is yet to feature this season after joining the club on loan, owed to a calf problem he sustained in the warm-up against Burton Albion.

But Beck is now back on the grass and has trained over the last week although the lack of minutes means he is not yet fully match fit.

Eustace does not expect Beck to be back until after the international break, but says the left-back cannot wait to be involved again.

"Owen's doing really well," said Eustace.

"He's been training with us this week and I think he's down for a game at some point next week as well.

"I think after the international break is when we'll get Owen back in the squad and firing.
