New Delhi, Sept 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid homage to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on his 93rd birth anniversary, lauding his decades of service in public life.
“Tributes to former PM Dr Manmohan Singh Ji on his birth anniversary. We recall his contributions to our nation during his long years in public life,” PM Modi wrote on social media platform X.
Dr Singh, who passed away on December 26, 2024, served as India’s 13th Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, steering the UPA government through a decade of steady economic growth.
