The High grounds police on Thursday arrested as many as 41 members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike for disrupting Hindi Diwas Day held at Taj West End Hotel on Thursday .

The protestors barged into the hotel shouted slogans, tore the banners and disrupted the program creating panic situation among the participants.

The protestors even argued with the hotel staff and organizers who tried to intervene .

The program itself represents the ongoing imposition of Hindi over Kannada and other Indian languages.

The police rushed to the spot and rounded up the protestors under preventive arrest .
