Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), comparing Bihar’s current development under the NDA government with what he described as the “lantern rule" of Lalu Yadav-led party.

Prime Minister Modi’s remarks came as he launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana for Bihar via video conferencing. During the address, the Prime Minister stated that Bihar women suffered a lot due to corruption and lawlessness when the RJD was in power in the state.
