An urgent search is under way for a UK man missing in Bali as fears grow that they may have drowned after being swept away on the beach. Harrison Edward Nada Kontounas, 23, was swimming with two friends when a strong current dragged him away at Legian Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
Red flags, which indicate sections where entering the water is prohibited due to dangerous conditions such as riptides, were put up after Kontounas disappeared. His friends managed to make it back to shore, but Mr Kontounas, from London, didn’t as he battled against wind speeds of 30km/h.
