First established in 1927, the Ryder Cup brings together 12 players from Europe and 12 from the United States to duke it out on the golf course in a three-day match play format. This year's Ryder Cup is stateside, taking participants to the Bethpage Black golf course in Farmingdale, New York. The tournament takes place every other year and previously occurred in Italy in 2023, where Europe won the title. The US has won the tournament 27 times, while Europe has won 15.
