BOARDMAN Township Police are investigating after a car ran into a tree in Boardman early Friday.

Dispatchers were told that the crash happened around midnight on the 4300 block of South Avenue, south of Midlothian Boulevard.

A woman, whom police believe was the driver, got out of the car and was given a field sobriety test.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene. 21 News is working to learn if the driver was injured or charged.
