COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County Police said they are investigating after a stabbing at a motel sent one person to the hospital early Friday morning.

Police said officers were called to the Budgetel Inn & Suites, located at 4900 Circle 75 Parkway. This is the same location where a 9-month-old was shot and killed .

At this time, the condition of the stabbing victim is unknown, and the suspect is in custody.

According to police, the stabbing is an isolated incident and is not related to the shooting.
