Hollyoaks legend Nikki Sanderson has revealed she needed hospital treatment after the nasty accident in which she ripped off "several layers of skin" from her arms and knees

Hollyoaks favourite Nikki Sanderson was treated at the hospital after a horror treadmill injury. ‌

The 41-year-old soap star , who has played Maxine in Hollyoaks since 2012 , said she needed hospital treatment after falling and smashing her face on her treadmill. Nikki said she ripped off "several layers of skin" from her arms and knees. ‌

The actress shared the scary moment on Instagram as well as a close-up snap of the aftermath, which left her with blood dripping from her chin. Nikki said: "TW (trigger warning) Epic treadmill fail… this one hurt wait for it… ‌
