Many Steinbach and area residents are still recovering from the widespread flooding we experienced two weeks ago, including those working in plumbing and restoration.

Calls for help started coming in the evening the rain began and continued through the night and well into the next day. Today, plumbers are still changing out sump pumps, and carpets are still drying.

Gilles Perron from Premium Plumbing recounts his experience of what he colloquially refers to as, "Flood Day":

"Ever since Flood Day, it's been pretty busy. I remember I was going to bed that Thursday night, and then the phone started to ring. And my first call was, 'I need help.
