Morgan Matusik led the Big Thumb in points, but the Millington senior couldn’t lift the Cardinals to the conference title Thursday at Arrowhead Golf Course in Caro.

In Thursday’s 18-hole conference championship event, Logan Matusik earned medalist honors with an 86 followed by Morgan Matusik with a 91. But Cass City won the team event with 410 strokes, edging Millington by two strokes. Caro was sixth with 504.
