Telangana Urdu Academy | Hyderabad, Sept. 26 (Maxim News): The Telangana State Urdu Academy has come under sharp criticism after it returned ₹17 crore of its sanctioned budget unused.

Despite repeated assurances from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that the returned budget would be carried forward, questions are being raised about the failure of the Academy to implement schemes for the promotion of the Urdu language .

The issue has sparked debate within political and literary circles. Concerns are being raised whether the Telangana State Urdu Academy Chairman Taher Bin Hamdan or the officials are not implementing the schemes as planned, while shifting blame on the government for not sanctioning fresh funds .
