The STM maintenance workers’ strike continues into Friday, causing ongoing disruptions to both metro and bus services.

This rotating strike, which began earlier this week, will remain in effect until Oct. 5, affecting approximately 2,400 workers.

On strike days—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—metro service will operate only during three limited time windows: • Morning: 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. • Afternoon: 2:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. • Late Night: 11 p.m. to closing

Outside of these peak hours metro service will be unavailable, leaving commuters without metro options during key parts of the day.

Bus service is also impacted on Fridays, with STM buses running on a reduced schedule.

No STM buses will be running between 9:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. as well as between 6 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. on Mon
