THE NFL's new kickoff rule ended the Arizona Cardinals' chances against the Seattle Seahawks last night.

Jonathan Gannon's Cardinals could not complete their dramatic comeback as the Seahawks won 23-20.

A botched kickoff saw the Cardinals' epic fourth quarter push stopped in its tracks.

Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, 23, was then flagged for holding as the visitors were denied a chance to extend their lead.

The Cardinals were 20-6 down as Marvin Harrison Jr., 23, scored a touchdown with less than six minutes remaining.

This sparked what was almost a comeback for the ages.
