Waaree Energies Ltd on Friday said that United States was a “very important manufacturing base” for the company and it will continue to cooperate with US investigators engaged in the anti-dumping duty probe against the company.

“Waaree has in the past co-operated with the US investigations and will continue to co-operate in ongoing investigations. We are a responsible corporate citizen in every country we operate in and we abide by all applicable local laws and regulations,” the company stated in a filing with the stock exchanges, Friday.

“The United States is a very important manufacturing base for Waaree Energies Limited in our expansion ambitions. Our subsidiary Waaree Solar Americas has an operational 1.6GW of module manufacturing facility in Texas, which is being expanded to 3.2GW.
