WEBSTER PARISH, La. (KSLA) - An alleged drug dealer is now behind bars after a major drug bust in Webster Parish.

The arrest was made Thursday, Sept. 25.

The Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office says Tymedrick Jones has been arrested for allegedly selling drugs in the Cullen and Springhill areas. He was arrested after getting pulled over in Caddo Parish around 2 a.m.

Officials say they seized the following drugs:

5,100 g (11.3 lbs) of methamphetamine

1,100 g (2.2 lbs) of cocaine

2,688 g (6 lbs) of synthetic marijuana

1,344 g (3 lbs) of marijuana

Officers also seized several thousand dollars in cash.

Jones will be facing multiple drug trafficking charges, the sheriff’s office says. Additional charges could be filed as the investigation goes on.
