Early-morning clouds across Massachusetts should give way to a warm and sunny day across the Bay State, a day after rain soaked the state.
A few widely scattered showers can’t be ruled out on Friday, particularly in the interior, but conditions should otherwise remain dry. Temperatures should climb to the high 70s or low 80s on Friday, National Weather Service forecasters wrote .
It will remain humid, with dewpoints in the 60s throughout the day.
A weak high-pressure system will build over New England Saturday, keeping the dry conditions in place. It’ll be another warm day, with highs in the upper 70s, though slightly cooler near the coast thanks to sea breezes.
The humidity will stick around, particularly closer to the South Coast.
