Congress MP Shashi Tharoor once again proved that when it comes to wordplay, few can match his wit. The latest example came after columnist Suhel Seth took a cheeky dig at him on X (formerly Twitter).

Seth, while visiting Oxford University, the birthplace of the Oxford English Dictionary, shared a photo of himself outside the historic building. Tagging Tharoor, he quipped, “Greetings my dear @ShashiTharoor from Oxford University: behind me is the building where the Oxford Dictionary (your sole mate) was created.”

For most, such a pun would pass as harmless banter. But Tharoor turned it into an opportunity for a clever comeback.
