Though fall has already begun, Montrealers will want to hold off on unpacking their knit sweaters this weekend.

Warm weather is on the way but before then rain might fall over the city on Friday.

A daytime high of 22°C is expected today, but feeling more like 26°C with the humidex.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is forecasting a 40 per cent chance of rain this afternoon with a low of 10°C tonight.

Come Saturday, sunshine is expected to brighten Montreal with a daytime high of 21°C.

That sunshine is set to stay for Sunday — ECCC forecasting a high of 25°C.

The beautiful weather is then trickling into the work week with sunny skies all the way through!
