A day after launching her campaign for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District, state Rep. Shannon Lundgren, R-Peosta, rolled out more endorsements from current and former Republican colleagues in the Iowa Legislature.

State Rep. Gary Mohr, R-Bettendorf, praised Lundgren’s record of taking on “tough fights” at the Statehouse, “whether it was lowering taxes, stopping illegal immigration or supporting small businesses.”

“Iowa needs that kind of grit in Congress, and I am honored to give her my complete and total endorsement,” Mohr said in a statement released by Lundgren’s campaign.
